Our Story
Helping Hands Mission, LLC was founded by Ben and Rebecca Sherman as a registered business in the State of Minnesota, USA. The mission is a direct expression of the Shermans' Christian faith, personal convictions, and lived experiences. Driven by a lifelong commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities, they established HHM to make a lasting and tangible impact. They believe that helping hands can heal hearts and empower minds, a principle that guides every aspect of our work, from providing personal care services in Minnesota to supporting children in Liberia.

Mission
To provide compassionate assistance and sustainable support of Personal Care Assistance/Home Care Services to underserved individuals and families through education, child feeding, advocacy, and empowerment. We strive to promote dignity, wellness and growth.

Our organization is structured to ensure both accountability and the effective execution of our mission, with each level playing a distinct and vital role. At the helm, the Executive Director oversees the strategic execution of all programs, ensuring a unified vision. Supporting this leadership are our dedicated Program Coordinators, who manage the intricate details of our home care services and international projects. The very heart of our mission is powered by our Volunteers and Interns, who provide the essential day-to-day support that makes our work possible. Providing a crucial layer of accountability, our Advisory Board offers invaluable oversight and guidance, ensuring we consistently adhere to our core mission and values.
